Mighty Little Bheem: Kite Festival
Parents need to know that Mighty Little Bheem: Kite Festival is a Mighty Little Bheem mini-series that celebrates the Hindu Makar Sankranti festival. Most of the episodes are benign, but there's a scene in the "Peacock Kite" episode that might scare some kids (a lion is moments away from eating a scared bunny). There's a little bit of meanness between some characters, as well as some slapstick cartoon-style injuries. Kite Festival is a good visual celebration of the Makar Sankranti festival, but without supporting dialogue, kids unfamiliar with the festival are unlikely to learn too much about it.

MIGHTY LITTLE BHEEM: KITE FESTIVAL is a three-episode mini-series of Mighty Little Bheem. It focuses on the Hindu festival of Makar Sankranti, which celebrates the end of winter and the beginning of the harvest. The first episode shows a ceremony with cows, in the second episode the Sun helps Bheem make pongal, and the third episode highlights the traditional kite flying done during the festival. In each story, Bheem follows his curiosity, which sometimes gets him into trouble but mostly leads to delight in discovering something new. 041b061a72
